Renowned as an Argentine-American jazz artist, Amed's musical identity is a captivating blend of South American folk traditions, art rock, and modern jazz. Not only is she celebrated as an award-winning vocalist, producer, and songwriter, but she also holds the role of a dedicated Full-time Voice Professor at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.

Amed's impactful contributions to South American music are underscored by her collaborative albums with Pedro Aznar, including the lauded "Limbo" and "Entremundos." Her discography further showcases her versatility with albums like "Cinemateca Finlandesa" (2010) with pianist Adrián Iaies, "Inocencia" (2011), and "La Sombra de Su Sombra" (2013) featuring the poems of Alejandra Pizarnik.
In 2019, she presented "Instantáneas," an album of live-in-studio performances, followed by "Ontology" in April 2021, earning international acclaim for its interpretation of works by Wayne Shorter, Alberto Ginastera, and Miles Davis. Notably, "Ontology" received two Latin GRAMMY® Awards nominations and later won the Gardel Award for Best Jazz Album in Argentina in 2022.

Adding to her accolades, Amed was awarded the "New Jazz Works" grant in August 2021, supported by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation through Chamber Music America. Her commitment to artistic exploration led to the release of "Unánime" in September 2022, an album dedicated to Latin Jazz, featuring collaborations with Chucho Valdés, Pedro Aznar, Niño Josele, and Chico Pinheiro. This release garnered outstanding reviews and secured a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best Latin Jazz/Jazz Album.
Continuing her innovative pursuits, on June 9th, 2023, Amed released "Los Trabajos y Las Noches" with composer-pianist Frank Carlberg, a quintet recording in NY featuring music inspired by Argentine poet Alejandra Pizarnik.
